Columbus North Waves Are:
Columbus North Waves are the competitive swim team from the North Branch of the YMCA of
Central Ohio. This team is also part of the Southeast Ohio/West Virginia Swim League
(SEOWV) which consists of more than 20 teams and 1700 winter league swimmers. The regular
season runs from September to early March with meets at various YMCA branches as well as a
few other locations locally.
The team is made up of swimmers from 5 to 18 that swim in events with others their age,
competing as a team as well as individually to beat their personal best times.
