Head Coach Igor Kochergin
Igor Kochergin is a Russian native, living in the USA since 2000.
Regional Chapion in swimming, Master of Sport level (Russia); 12 years of competitive swimming starting from age 7. Working with children of different ages since 1992, always enjoying it.
For the last 7 years has worked in the construction industry as an electrician, just to allow self to try a different field. Has always wanted to return to recreation and sports, where he has worked for more than 17 years. Is very exicted to return doing what he loves. Coach is married with two daughters.

Assistant Coach Tran Nguyen
Tran born November 26, 1991, graduated from Northland High School in 2010 as valedictorian and after being part of the National Honors Society for 2 years while at Northland. Tran was a North Waves swimmer for 8 years and as a Northland Viking Swimmer for 4 years of high school. Now is a Freshman at The Ohio State University working toward a major in Accounting.
As a swimmer, Tran also served as a life guard and a swim instructor for two years, and recently worked with North Waves swimmers in the August 2010 Stroke and Technique Clinics at the North Y. For two years Tran was an all city champion for the 100 yard backstroke. Tran enjoys the 100 Free and 100 back as her favorite swimming events. In addition to being a hard working student, swimmer and friend, Tran is a 1st degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and is getting ready to test for 2nd degree in November 2010. Tran also has a brother Viet who is currently a North Waves Swimmer.

Assistant Coach Jeremy Roberts
Jeremy has been around the pool for many years. He began swimming competitively at the age of 9 in his home state of Pennsylvania. He swam for 7 years for the Butler YMCA and 4 years for Knoch High School, where he was school record holder in the 200 IM, 100 fly, and 500 freestyle. He went on to swim for 4 years on the varsity swim team at Grove City College. At GCC, Jeremy was All Conference in the 400 IM, a part of a conference championship team, and team captain during his senior year. Jeremy has also spent a good amount of time on deck as a coach. He coached for SEBCO swim team for 6 years, 4 as an assistant coach and 2 as head coach. Jeremy was also an assistant coach for the Valley Points Family YMCA in New Kensington during the 2006-2007 season. Jeremy graduated from Grove City in 2006 with a degree in Music, where he studied organ and piano. In 2009 he completed a Master of Arts in Church Music at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, here in Columbus. He is currently employed as the Director of Music at Boulevard Presbyterian Church in Grandview Heights and also teaches private piano lessons. Jeremy sings bass 1 as a member of the Columbus Symphony Chorus. Jeremy is engaged to Mandy Oleson, who is a Master of Divinity Student at Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Mandy is currently completing a one year internship at Zion Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys reading, hiking, learning to cook new foods, and traveling. He is a big fan of his hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers!
